Our power grid is vulnerable to extreme weather events, and staying several steps ahead of the storm is critical in restoration and response time after an outage.

Forecasts for electric utilities are a combination of short-term and long-term outlooks, providing an overview of any incoming hazards that may impact the ability to deliver electricity to customers. In addition to forecasts, Nor’easter Weather Consulting also assists in storm preparedness and in-storm update conference calls.

Utilizing our Preparecast product allows clients to make the necessary decisions ahead of the storm confidently, and ultimately enhance response and shorten restoration times for customers.
